The Ministry of Education and Higher Education confirmed that more than 19,000 schoolchildren have been killed and around 28,000 injured in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank since the start of the genocide.
The ministry said it is presenting these figures on the occasion of World Children’s Day to emphasize that the children of Palestine deserve to live in a stable environment that guarantees their right to free, safe, and quality education.

It added that while countries and institutions around the world mark this occasion, violations by the occupation army and settlers against Palestinian children continue in various areas, including Gaza and Jerusalem, calling for protection to be provided for them.
