The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) stated that its healthcare workers have returned to northern Gaza.

In a press release, the agency noted that its staff are facing severe shortages of equipment due to the destruction of facilities.

UNRWA and most international institutions had ceased operations in northern Gaza during the war of extermination, as a result of the intense bombardment and widespread destruction that affected the area and its headquarters.
