Palestinian Prisoner Martyred in Israeli Jails

Palestinian prisoner Sakher Zaoul (26) was martyred in Israeli occupation prisons, with no details or circumstances disclosed by the prison administration regarding his death.

Zaoul was arrested by Israeli forces on June 11, 2025, placed under administrative detention, and held in Ofer prison.

The Government Media Office confirmed that Zaoul’s death is part of what it described as Israel’s policy of “slow execution” against Palestinian detainees, through arbitrary administrative detention, denial of basic human rights, torture, starvation, deliberate medical neglect, and physical and psychological abuse — all under harsh detention conditions lacking minimum standards of life.

With Zaoul’s martyrdom, the total number of Palestinian prisoners martyred in Israeli custody since 1967 rises to 323, including 86 since the start of the genocide war on Gaza, 50 of whom were from the Gaza Strip.
