Evidence of the Occupation’s Use of Vacuum (Thermobaric) Bombs During Its War of Extermination Against the Gaza Strip

Researcher Yamen Al-Asṭal confirmed the existence of evidence proving that the Israeli occupation army used thermobaric (vacuum) bombs in attacks on civilians during the war of genocide in the Gaza Strip.

Al-Asṭal said he conducted a field analysis following an airstrike that targeted a civilian vehicle carrying eight people in the southern part of the Strip. He added that when he reached the strike site alongside civil defense teams, the heat was suffocating and breathing was nearly impossible, and the air was filled with choking fumes resulting from the mixing of fuel and explosive materials with severely burned human remains fused with the asphalt.

He noted that only the remains of one woman were found, limited to a melted lower portion of her body. As for the driver, only fused skeletal remains were recovered, with his hands still gripping the steering wheel. The other six passengers were not found at all, with no bodily remains recovered, as if they had completely vanished due to the extreme heat, pressure, and explosion.

He affirmed that these indicators clearly point to the use of a high-power thermal/vacuum weapon, characterized by a prolonged blast effect, extreme heat, and oxygen depletion.
