The Israeli occupation forces started leveling the lands for the construction of a new road next year. This road should connect the new settlements in Mordot with Gilo in south occupied Al-Quds at the expense of the confiscated Palestinian lands. Moshe Leon, occupation’s mayor, and the engineer of the settlement had met with the settlers and other members of Gilo municipality. The Municipality stated that about 550 new settlement units would be built and other facilities such as a synagogue, kindergarten, and an educational complex so that the settlers would have access to all services.
