Valdimir Safronov, Russian special envoy to Middle East peace process, made a series of calls with Alon Ushpiz, Director General of Foreign Ministry; the Swiss special Envoy; Susanna Terstal, EU Special Representative; and Nickolay Maldenov, UN's Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, in order to resume the Palestinian-Israeli negotiations, stressing on the importance of making joint moves, not unilateral ones; and reactivating the role of the Quartet on the Middle East.
