Confrontations erupted between tens of youth and occupation’s soldiers near Al-Tawil mountain east Al-Bireh in the occupied West Bank.
The soldiers fired bullets, sound bombs and teargas at the citizens leading to the suffocation of some.
The forces arrested the child with special needs Yousef Abed, 12, from the place. The Al-Tawil mountain area witnesses almost-daily confrontations that erupt at the outskirts of the nearby settlement (Psagot).
The occupation’s soldiers enter the confrontations while being fortified by the military towers in the settlement.
This settlement was established in 1968 on the mountain top of Al-Tawil east Al-Bireh. There are about 1800 settlers occupying the place. The settlement prevents any expansion of Al-Bireh to its east.
