The Israeli Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper covered the joint maneuver of the Palestinian resistance’ factions which took place in the Gaza Strip. Three media outlets discussed the launch of rockets at the sea and the joint work of the factions in the Gaza Strip under the Joint Operations Room leadership.
The newspaper said that the maneuvers were in response to the huge maneuvers implemented by the occupation’s army recently. The resistance’ maneuver was prepared to create deterrence from the Gaza Strip towards the Israeli entity.
Channel 12 published an article titled ‘Threat Message from the Strip; Armed Organizations in Strip Started Large-Scale Maneuvers Mimicking Battle with Army’. The Channel displayed the maneuver in clips and photos.
The occupation's newspapers also referred to the rockets which were fired at the sea as part of training to face the occupation, and the resistance’ small drones and how the latter had moved to using technology.
One of the reporters in the Army Radio said that the maneuver was called ‘Ar-Rukn As-Shadid’ after the verse in surah Hud from the Holy Quran. He said that Hamas wanted to say that it had support.
A journalist at Yedioth Ahronoth said that two spy planes from the Israeli air forces hovered along the coast of the Gaza Strip during the maneuver and were directly linked to Nevatim Airbase in Negev.
