Assaults by Settlers Under Occupation’s Protection

Ghassan Daghlas, an official who monitors settlement activities in the northern West Bank, said that some settlers attacked the vehicles of the citizens at the outskirts of Huwara town, south Nablus. The soldiers closed down the main street leading to Qalqilya due to the settlers’ demonstrations and attacks on vehicles.

Daghlas said that the settlers attacked the house of Mo’taz Al-Qasrawi which resulted in damaging the windows and glass inside.

Earlier, the settlers attacked the vehicles of the citizens in that area, and attacked the citizens’ vehicles at the road to Ramallah-Nablus near Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya and Jenin-Nablus road at the entrance of the emptied Homesh settlement near Silat ad-Dhahr.

In Bethlehem, the Israeli occupation forces notified citizens from Hajajla family of evacuating their agricultural lands in Al-Walaja village under the pretext of being absentees’ properties. The forces gave them 45 days to evacuate.
