The Israeli Channel 12 said that the Israeli occupation army considers Yemen against it, joining the Iranian ‘axis of evil’, and that it should prepare for any confrontations with it.

The Channel also said that for years the occupation tried to prevent the smuggling of Iranian weapons to the Gaza Strip through the Red Sea and to protect its merchant ships that sale there. For a while now, Yemen became a threat to the occupation’s interests in the region.

On its website, the Channel explained that Iran is developing drones and rockets in Iraq and Yemen, which can target the entity. In addition, Iran provided Ansar Allah party with modern weapons, which means Yemen has become a strategic threat to the entity.

It also said that the normalization agreements or the so-called ‘Abraham Accords’ between the occupation, the UAE, Bahrain and Sudan gives it the chance to participate in the protection of its freedom of navigation in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden. This means the opening of a new defense base for the occupation despite being distant from the occupation’s entity.  

The occupation’s army confirmed observing Iran’s movements in the region, expecting threats from Iraq and Yemen. It also stressed that the Israeli submarines sale ‘in different areas whether close or far’.
