The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed the martyrdom of Ahed Khalil from Beit Ummar in north Hebron. He was shot under the pretext of attempting to carry out a stabbing operation.

The Israeli Channel 7 claimed that the martyr, along with a friend, approached the soldiers and settlers in Gush Etzion settlement to the south of Bethlehem and tried to attack them with a knife before one of the soldiers shot him dead. The soldiers are still chasing down his friend.
