The ‘Israeli’ Channel Seven said that Amir Peretz, former chairman of the Labor and current Knesset member, threatened the new chairman of the party Merav Michaeli to file a defamation lawsuit against her.
The channel said that Peretz sent a message to Michaeli asking her to apologize publicly for the video she had shared online the day she was assigned chairman. He also demanded she withdraw the accusations of Peretz preventing Knesset members from voting in the elections. He threatened to file a defamation lawsuit if she refuses to apologize.
