The ‘Israeli’ army’s radio reported that Gilad Ardan, Tel Aviv Ambassador to the UN, and Foreign Minister Gaby Ashkenazi have discussed with officials in President Biden’s administration the decision of the International Criminal Court about its jurisdiction to investigate war crimes against Palestinians.
It added that the senior officials in the administration of the US promised Ashkenazi and Ardan to help the occupation and prevent any investigations against it.
According to Kan channel, the Cabinet will discuss the Court's decision in detail, adding that the meeting was pre-arranged to discuss the Iran issue.
Senior 'Israeli' officials stated that no investigation would be opened currently against any ‘Israeli’ figure, but the decision would pave the way for such an investigation.
According to some 'Israeli' sources, the occupation should change their policies to prevent any investigation and it should launch an international campaign to pressure the Court to reverse its decision.
