Channel 13 shared a poll supervised by Professor Kamil Fox showing the Joint List wining 8 seats and the Arab Joint List winning 4, successfully passing the threshold.
The Likud party, headed by Netanyahu, won 28 seats maintaining its position in the lead, and Yesh Atid, led by Yair Lapid, 17 seats.
The poll results showed Netanyahu’s bloc (including the Likud, the Haridi, the Religious Zionism and Yamina) winning 58 seats, still incapable of forming a government. However in the elections for the position of Prime Minister, Netanyahu received 34% of votes, while Gideon Sa’ar, head of Tikva Hadasha, received 18%, Lapid 17% and Bennett 10%.
Commenting on the elections, Benny Gantz, leader of the Blue and White party, said in an interview with Kan channel that he and Gideon Sa’ar pledge to end Benjamin Netanyahu's rule through the coming elections.
Gantz stressed that he will not make the same mistake twice; referring to his agreement with Netanyahu. He added that despite members’ resignations and polls indicating his retreat, his position is still the same and he will run to become the next Prime Minister.
