The occupation forces raided the homes of a number of Hamas leaders and warned them against running for the coming elections in Hebron. Among them are Nayef Rajoub, and Rizq Rajoub from Dura City.

Nayef Rajoub told the local Safa Agency that the occupation broke into his home and informed him not to participate or run for elections; he was only allowed to vote on election day. He said that the occupation is trying to intervene in or cancel the elections. 

Rajoub said that the occupation's practices will not prevent Hamas or others from running for elections.
