Gabi Ashkenazi, the 'Israeli’ Foreign Minister, revealed having made contact with his Omani counterpart, Badr Al-Busaidi, that aimed at strengthening relations between the occupation and Amman, and maintaining direct channels of communication.

Ashkenazi tweeted that he had a good conversation with the Omani Foreign Minister. During the call, they exchanged views on a number of issues and common interests, as well as the importance of supporting all efforts to achieve peace and stability in the region.

Ashkenazi also tweeted that they agreed to maintain a direct channel of communication in order to double their cooperation.

Al-Busaidi had announced earlier that Amman is satisfied with the current level of relations with the occupation.
