Hamas leader and freed prisoner Omar Al-Barghouti, 67, died as a result to Coronavirus.
Al-Barghouti is originally from Kober village in the north-west of Ramallah. He is one of Hamas' most prominent leaders. He spent 27 years in the occupation's prisons, and is the brother of Nael Al-Barghouti, who spent 41 years in the occupation's prisons.
Saleh, Al-Barghouti's son, was martyred two years ago; and Assem, his other son, is currently serving a life-sentence in the occupation's jails. The occupation demolished the family's houses and arrested his wife and children.
