In a statement, the defense team of the Northern Islamic Movement in the occupied lands of 1948 of Sheikh Raed Salah condemned the transportation of the Sheikh to Rimon prison near Nafha surprisingly without informing the team or giving any legal reasons.

The tea said that this procedure is actually a form of punishment that targets and violates the Sheikh and his family, and violates the law of human rights.  

The team confirmed their disapproval of such punitive actions, and the verdicts which were issued. They urged the legal, international and rights organization, civil society organizations, and activists to expose such violations and to organize solidarity campaigns to exercise pressure on the occupation.
