Qassem Awad, Director General of Publication and Documentation Department in the Wall and Settlement Resistance Committee, said that some settlement companies began expanding and building 23 new settlement units in Maskiot settlement in the northern Valley in the occupied West Bank.

Awad added that the Israeli occupation government approved building the units upon the request of the Settlements Council. He pointed that building and expanding in Maskiot settlement were part of the occupation government’s support for the settlement establishment policy.
