Israeli Sources said that the occupation's government began building 96 new settlement units in east of Gush Etzion settlement, south of Bethlehem  in the occupied West Bank.

It added that the new settlement bloc was the first in Ghosh Atzion settlement since 1999. The Chairman of the Gush Etzion bloc praised the construction in the settlement neighborhood, saying that these policies reinforce their control over the lands.

Israel Hayom said that Erik Stroke, a member of the Knesset representing  Yamina party, introduced a new bill to legalize the settlements in the West Bank.

Yossi Dagan, a settlement official in  north of West Bank, said that today the Knesset has a majority of right-wing parties, and therefore the law is expected to be passed.

The bill seeks to establish more than 100 settlements over the next two years, convert them into settlements and provide them with services.
