Protests from different governorates in the Gaza Strip were organized against President Abbas' decision to postpone elections and in solidarity with the occupied Al-Quds and Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa.

Hamas condemned the decision in a demonstration against President Abbas' decision and depriving the Palestinian people from their right to renew their institutes.

Nagy Al-Shehabi, Chairman of the Democratic Generation Party, told Shehab News Agency that the Palestinian elections are one of the basic rights of the Palestinian people. The PA must do everything possible to ensure their conduct.

He also added that any elections-related decisions should be made after a joint dialogue among all factions.
