The Israeli 0404 website reported that the occupation's army arrested the freedom fighter Montaser Shalabi, 44, who executed the Za'tara operation. He was arrested while staying in a building inside Salwad village.

He was arrested shortly after Yehuda Guata, a settler, was announced dead of his injury from the operation.
