Al-Ayyam Egyptian newspaper said that Egypt will be inviting the Palestinian factions to visit Egypt for holding talks on several issues.

President Mahmoud Abbas informed Abbas Kamel, Director of the General Egyptian Intelligence Directorate, that of his willingness to form an internationally approved government to work on the reconstruction of Gaza.

 The newspaper confirmed that President Abbas insists on having the reconstruction done through the PA. It also reported that maintaining calm requires the complete stop of all occupation's assaults, including settlement activities, against the Palestinians in the West Bank, Al-Quds, and the Gaza Strip; paving the path for the establishment of a Palestinian state.

The Palestinian leadership also informed Egyptian officials of its willingness to conduct elections should the occupation allow them in the occupied Al-Quds.
