Several citizens suffocated during the occupation's oppression of a peaceful protest against the construction of a settlement road that passes through the lands of Beita town in south Nablus.
Hundreds participated in the protest but were shot at with live and metallic bullets. The soldiers also fired teargas at the participants causing tens to suffocate. They also targeted an ambulance and hit its windshield with bullets.
The child Tamim Al-Tamimi was shot in the foot, and some products were destroyed at a shop for heritage crafts during the break-in of the forces at the Old Town and firing of stun grenades at the youngsters.
The forces also broke into several homes in the city and set military checks at the entrances of Beit Awwa town and Al-Fawwar camp, and the southern and northern entrances of the city. The soldiers stopped the vehicles of the citizens and checked for their IDs.
