The Israeli Ynet website reported that the Cabinet will be meeting today to discuss a new mechanism for transferring the Qatari grant to the Gaza Strip; i.e. $30M on a monthly basis. The final transfer mechanism has not been decided on.

The website pointed to the new proposition of transferring the money via the UN, and later via the PA; expressing the occupation's hope for concluding an agreement between Qatar and Hamas on the grant.

The occupation insists on not allowing the entry of the grant in bags as before. The new plan suggests distributing the money to the needy families via Gaza mail after being thoroughly examined by the Israeli intelligence bodies to ensure no money is leaked to serve 'terrorist' aims as mentioned in the website.

The Cabinet will receive a report on the talks currently taking place with the Egyptian side after the occupation's recent visit to Cairo. The talks will cover the prisoners and the missing.
