Benny Gantz met with Meretz members in the government to discuss security and political issues. He said that the entity would protect the settlement outposts in the occupied West Bank and would empower the so-called local councils.

He also said that no decisions will be made regarding the outpost at Sbeih Mountain in Nablus until the lands are entirely swept.
