The Follow-up Supreme Committee of the Palestinians in the occupied lands of 1948 demanded the occupation's prisons' administration and government to stop torturing Sheikh Raed Salah who has been in solitary for a year.

The Committee stressed that sending the Sheikh to solitary was out of political vengeance and was not stipulated in the verdict which they also reject. It said that placing the Sheikh in solitary away from people would have negative consequences and impacts on his health, shouldering the prisons' administration and government responsibility.
