In an interview with Channel 13, Benny Gantz, the occupation’s Minister of War, said that the Israeli occupation decided to eliminate all obstacles preventing the entry of goods into Gaza at the request of Egypt.

Gantz noted that Israel indicated a strong desire for calm with Gaza, but, meanwhile, it still seeks to receive international legitimacy to resume its military operations. 

Gantz noted that the Palestinian resistance continues the night confusion activities along the strip, and said, "this seems that it wants an escalation."
