Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that the Israeli occupation forces re-arrested the detainees Mohammed Arda and Yacoubi Qadri in Al-Nasera town in the north of the 1948 occupied Palestinian lands. A few hours later, they also re-arrested Zakeria Al-Zbeidi and Mohammed Arda in Marj Ben Amer in the north of 1948 occupied Palestinian lands.

It said that they arrested four out of the six detainees who escaped from Gilbou through a tunnel in the predawn hours of Monday morning.

Since the escape, the occupation forces have continued to raid Palestinian houses and conduct large-scale sweep operations. 

The Islamic Jihad movement commented that it holds the Israeli occupation responsible for the detainees’ lives, confirming that any attempt to retaliate against them is like launching an aggression on the Palestinian people, which requires the resistance to respond.
