The Palestinian Prisoner’s Club stated that the Israeli occupation forces conducted large-scale campaign of break-ins and arrests in different areas in the West Bank, looking for the two prisoners who broke free from Gilbou prison: Ayham Kamamji and Munadel Nufay’at.

The club added that the occupation forces broke into Al-Yamoun town in Jenin, and arrested the escapee’s brother and cousin; Ayham Kamamji. They also broke into other houses and fired flares during a large-scale sweep operation in the town.

In Ya’bad, they searched the neighboring houses of the other escapee Munadel Nufay’at, and arrested two youths in Qalqilya.

In Nablus, they attacked the Palestinians who protested against the occupation’s attacks by closing the main street leading to Barqa village.

Six Palestinian detainees escaped from Giblou prison on Monday. Four of them were re-detained while the two others are still free; Ayham Kamamji and Munadel Nufay’at.
