Shokry Besharah, the Palestinian Minister of Finance, said, in his meeting with the representatives of the donor countries, that the financial situation of the Palestinian Authority will be more complicated unless the Israeli occupation releases its money.
In a statement of the Ministry of Finance, Besharah informed the representatives of the international society that the PA used up all financing options and could no longer borrow from banks.
He urged the international society to exert possible efforts to convince the Israeli occupation to deal with the PA's demands. He also called for the return of the external support as it was before 2018.
He also called upon the donor countries to help its return the Palestinian treasury as it was in 2018, after it has decreased by 90% this year in comparison of 2020.
