In a press conference, the Government’s Information Center in the Gaza Strip announced that Gaza recorded the  first 4 cases of covid-19 infections outside the quarantine. The infected are from a single family, and were moved to a hospital specially prepared to deal with the virus. The discovery of the virus set off an investigation into the outbreak’s source, and the people infected. In addition, the Center declared a curfew in all Gaza governorates; suspension of work and educational institutions; and closure of the mosques, markets, wedding halls, and gyms for 48 hours. The Center urged all citizens to follow all personal safety procedures.
