The first meeting of the Steering Committee for "Honoring Women of Palestine 2022" was held in the office of the Ministry of Women's Affairs, as a part of the documentation of the Palestinian women achievements project. 
Honoring "Women of Palestine" is an annual award issued by the Ministry of Women's Affairs in 2015 to award the distinguished women, who have a prominent role in several issues. 
The committee included Dr. Abdel Khaleq Al-Aaf, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Zaeem, Dr. Nehad Al-Sheikh, Dr. Wael Al-Manaa'ma, Dr. Ola Ghannam, Mrs. Muna Skaik, Mrs. Azza Al-Ejla, Mrs. Ibtesam Sayma, and Mr. Saber Abu Al-Kas. 
The committee finally announced the appointment of Dr. Abdel Khalq Al-Aaf as the chief of its session of the year.
