Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières) stated that a quarter of the children and pregnant women in Gaza who visit its clinics are suffering from starvation and malnutrition.

The organization explained that the use of starvation as a weapon of war by the Israeli occupation in Gaza has reached unprecedented levels, noting:
“This is the first time we have witnessed malnutrition cases on such a severe scale in Gaza. The starvation of people in Gaza is deliberate, and it could end tomorrow if the occupation allowed large-scale entry of food.”
