Maariv Newspaper reported that the occupation’s security and military institutions are concerned over the possible collapse of the Palestinian Authority, especially after the communication between the two had stopped. This affects the security stability of the West Bank and other regions. The most recent three individual operations in the occupied territories of 1948, near Nablus, and the Coronavirus crisis further complicate the situation. A number of the Israeli analysts pointed out that President Mahmoud Abbas may actually dissolve the Authority as he threatens to, so the security of  the occupation is attempting to renew the security coordination between them. Channel 13 mentioned that the Israeli Gaza Commander expected the calm between the PA and Hamas to last for two months, but things remain the same.
