Prisoner Khalil Awawda, 40, has been on hunger strike for 153 days, rejecting his administrative detention, amid very critical health conditions.
The Ofer Military Court allowed the prisoner's lawyer to visit him urgently, accompanied by a specialist doctor, to inspect him and prepare a medical report on his state of health, for submission to the court, which next Sunday will hear his appeal.
In Ramla prison, Awawda suffers from severe joint aches, head pain, severe warp and blurred vision, as well as he is incapable of walking and moving around in a wheelchair.
