Occupation Rejects the Appeal Request for Release Prisoner Awawda

Aug 16, 2022 01:43 pm

The Prisoners Club stated that the Israeli occupation court rejected the appeal request for prisoner Khalil Awawda, who has been hunger striking for 157 days, saying that "there is still danger (that may occur) after releasing him".

Ahlam Haddad, the lawyer of prisoner Awawda, said that the Israeli court decision was surprising, confirming that the legal crew will petition the court after the rejection to accept the appeal of releasing him, or targeting a time limit for his administrative detention.

The court's rejection comes despite the doctors reports in "Asaf Harofeh" hospital and the administration of the occupation prisons, which confirms that there is real danger to the prisoner Khalil Awawda's life.
