The representative of the European Union to Palestine, Sven Burgsdorff, stressed that the Union's support to Palestinian partner institutions would not cease.

This came during a solidarity visit by a number of consuls and representatives of diplomatic missions in Palestine to the headquarters of the Al-Haq Foundation in Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, in denunciation of the occupation forces' closure of the headquarters of the institution, along with 6 other human and civil institutions, and the seizure of some of its contents.

The solidarity visit was attended by diplomats from 16 countries: Denmark, Spain, Italy, France, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland, Britain, Ireland, Finland, Sweden, Chile and Mexico, together with the European Union Mission.
