In a joint statement, the political Kuwaiti powers condemned US President Trump’s statement in which he alleged Kuwait’s interest in normalization with the Israeli occupation. The Kuwaitis instead stressed that the government and the people will always support the Arab-Palestinian right, and will never abandon their constants and values. They also demanded the Kuwaiti government to issue a clarification that refutes such allegations through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and demanded the National Assembly to quicken the enactment of a law that criminalizes normalization with the occupation and protects Kuwait from blackmail and expected pressure.
