The Prime Minister of the Israeli occupation, Yair Lapid, is preparing to establish an alliance between the Labour and Meretz parties, and attempts to increase voting among Palestinians in the occupied interior in 1948 in Israeli elections.
Lapid urged Labour Party Chairman Mirav Mikhaili and Meretz Party Chairman Zahava Gala to organize a tripartite meeting over the weekend to convince Mikhaili to lead a step towards bipartisan unification, saying: "If Meretz does not pass the decisive ratio, Netanyahu will inevitably reach 61 seats."
Lapid also asked Labour and Meretz to sign a technical alliance that would allow the two parties to break away after the election.
