The State of Qatar refused a request from the Israeli occupation to open a “consular office” for it, during the World Cup in 2022, for the “Israelis” to travel to Qatar to watch the matches.

A media source in Al-Doha confirmed that the “Israelis” made discussions with the official World Football Association “FIFA” in an attempt to persuade Al-Doha to open a “consular office” during the World Cup period, to be closed at the end of the event, but Al-Doha refused.

The state of Qatar removed the name of Israel from the official World Cup map on the official website of “FIFA” and replaced it with “the Occupied Palestinian Territories”.
