Al-Akhbar Lebanese Newspaper revealed that the prisoners’ exchange deal between the Israeli occupation and Hamas was suspended despite the recent developments in this file. The occupation set some terms regarding the release of the ill, elderly and women; and it excluded some names other than the administrative detainees. However, Hamas insists on the release of all mentioned groups without exceptions. Well-informed Palestinian resources predicted the resumption of the exchange negotiations under Egyptian sponsorship after the end of the Jewish holidays on October 10.
