In his speech to the United Nations General Assembly in New York, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said that the Israeli entity had decided not to be a partner in the peace process.
In his speech during the 77th session of the Assembly, Abbas added that the entity disguises the resolutions of international legitimacy and seeks its current policies to destroy the two-State solution, demonstrating that it does not believe in peace. This makes the relations between it and the State of Palestine a relationship of an occupation and occupied people. He also called on the international community to deal with it on that basis as well. "
The President referred to the daily attacks against the occupation, its settlers and crimes against the Palestinian people in all Palestinian territories, and the suffering of prisoners inside the occupation's prisons.
Abbas concluded by saying, "You who represent the international community and international legitimacy, the occupation will inevitably end, now or later.”
