The American historian and author, Barbara Tuchman, who put the definition of “The March of Foolishness” in her famous book published in 1984, when Israel was at the peak of another march of foolishness like this, and this time in Lebanon. Tuchman said: “Foolishness always starts with the simplest human instinct which is self-destruction, or what is known as (lust for power), which can be fed only by using it against others.”

Barbara's historical journey in foolishness marches started with the Trojan Horse incident, about which we don't know whether it is a historical or legendary incident. Because the Trojans themselves opened their city's doors and entered this horse, inside which the Greek soldiers were hiding, and caused its destruction.

This is a successful myth to examine Israel's situation; as the Extremist Right-wing considers Oslo's accords a Trojan Horse, inside which “terrorists” were hiding. Thus, he concludes that it is a must to thwart the establishment of the Palestinian state at any cost, because peace with the Palestinians is the big trick to killing the Jews and destroying Israel as a Jewish “so-called country.”

The competing narration considers Sebastia and Elon Moreh settlement a Trojan Horse, which the Israeli community entered by its own will, and from inside it many settlers come, who destroy Israel's principles as a democratic country. 

It’s not a big deal to know which of the two narrations represents the real Trojan Horse in the story. Nonetheless, the story in both of them leads to the same conclusion: to prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state, to destroy democratic Israel, and to ensure the success of the settlement project. 

If Israel is a strong country and has good security, military, economic, and intellectual relations with the West, it will be a very long time before it is asked to confess its bi-nationalism. If this happens, it will be in vain. The two-state solution is over, and the bi-national country is an immoral apartheid country, which seems to last for a really long time.
