UN Commission Presents Results of its Investigations into Occupation Crimes during Recent Aggression against Gaza

Oct 21, 2022 12:09 pm

Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom reported that in the coming days, the UN Human Rights Council's Permanent Commission of Inquiry will present the results of its investigations into the recent Israeli occupation of the Gaza Strip last August to the UN General Assembly.

According to the newspaper, the committee will submit a "hostile and biased report strongly critical of Israel, accusing it of war crimes."

It reported that the report was 28 pages long, and included charges against Israel more than 227 times.

The newspaper claimed that the report ignored Hamas and its rocket fire towards occupied Palestine in 1948.

It also recommends that the International Court of Justice should be involved in the investigation against the occupation, and also notes that settlements in the occupied West Bank constitute a war crime.
