A number of Kuwaiti deputies presented a proposed law to ban normalization with the Israeli entity and its organizations, demanding that it be presented to their country's parliament.

The deputies explained that this proposal is a national Islamic one, and it needs a pause to address the issue of normalization with this entity, through a clear law to criminalize any step of this normalization.

In December 2021, Kuwait decided to ban the passing of commercial ships carrying goods to and from the Israeli entity through the country's territorial waters.
