Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Chawusoglu said Turkey and the occupation normalized their relations by benefiting from the formation of a new occupation government.

During a speech on the sidelines of his participation in the eighth edition of the Mediterranean Dialogue Forum held in the Italian capital of Rome, Oglu added that it was wrong to consider this normalization as a betrayal of the Palestinian cause, but rather to make contributions to both sides and the region in general.

The occupation knew that Turkey's position on the question of Palestine would not change.
