The Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar revealed new updates on the "prisoner exchange file" between Hamas in the Gaza Strip and the Israeli occupation.

The newspaper quoted a leading source in Hamas as saying that the movement was still in contact with the Egyptian side to complete an honourable exchange deal, noting that the resistance had put a ceiling on ending the file.

The source told the newspaper that the new movement would not be limited to the Gaza Strip, but would include several arenas, to force the occupation to concede", while Hamas would not back down on its terms to complete the deal.
