The Head of Israeli Occupation Government in charge, Benjamin Netanyahu, Chairman of the Otzma Yehudit Party, Itmar Ben-Gvir, gave the green light on the death penalty law.

Israel's Channel 13 said Netanyahu agreed that Ben-Gvir would promote the adoption of the death penalty law for resistance operators, despite opposition from the security system for fear of increased operations and abduction of soldiers.

In a related context, Netanyahu pledged to impose Israeli sovereignty in the West Bank to the head of the Party of Religious Zionism, Bezalel Smotrić.
