The new occupation government, headed by Benjamin Netanyahu, held its first meeting in the presence of new Israeli ministers, after the Knesset endorsed the granting of confidence to it.

According to Channel 12, 64 deputies voted in favor of the formation of the new government, while 54 opposed.

Netanyahu returned to the political scene. Although he is on trial on corruption charges, political experts believe that his Likud Party's rules will remain supportive, while experts expect the new Government to be the most rightwing in the history of the occupation.
